Contributors

Loney Abrams & Johnny Stanish have been working collaboratively since 2014. They’ve recently exhibited at The Knockdown Center in Queens, Material Art Fair in Mexico City, and Sadie Halie Projects in Minneapolis.

manuel arturo abreu is a Dominican Republic-born poet and artist from the Bronx. They are currently living and working out of a garage in Portland and co-facilitate home school, a free pop-up art school.

Eva Barto graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Paris and attended the postgraduate program at Ensba in Lyon. She has shown widely in France and recently founded Buttonwood.Press.

Pierre Chaumont was born in France and currently lives in Montreal. He has shown his work in the USA, Japan, China, Greece, Slovenia, and Canada.

Max Geller is a radical artist and organizer based in New Orleans. He supports the Palestinian call for BDS.

Devin Kenny is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, musician, and independent curator. Originally from the south side of Chicago, he currently lives and works in New York.

John Seung-Hwan Lee was born in Texas and grew up in Seoul. Interested in physicality, he explores his body movement as a core medium for drawing and digital film.

Haleigh Nickerson is from the Bay Area and is currently based in New York. She is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of race, representation, and gender.

Antonio Ortega is an artist, writer, and professor based in Spain. He is currently researching the influence of comfort in both thinking and behavior.

Julian Reid is the author of numerous writings on war and strategy including Biopolitics of the War on Terror and The Liberal Way of War. He is professor and Chair of International Politics at the University of Lapland in Finland.

Peter Rostovsky is a Russian-born artist and writer who works in a variety of disciplines that include painting, sculpture, installation, digital art, and comics. His work has been shown widely in the United States and abroad.

Margarita Sánchez Urdaneta is a Colombian artist and writer. She has participated in several exhibitions in the United States and Colombia and attended the Whitney Independent Study Program.

Theadora Walsh is a video and sound artist who strives to look at the way we narrate sound in public spaces, turning noise into language.

Annie Julia Wyman holds two advanced degrees. Her essays on literature, art and culture appear widely.

American Artist is an artist and writer from Pasadena, California that found a home on the Internet as well as in Brooklyn. Their practice is aimed at decentering whiteness and engaging a critique of techno-utopianism.

Aaron Cooper is an artist and writer. He is from Australia and lives in Brooklyn. Aaron’s work engages narratives about contested sites and objects. Among his other interests are critical pedagogy, radical publishing, and Italian cooking.

Logan Lape is an artist from Nevada. His expanded practice encompasses collaboration, design, education, events, sculpture, and temporary architectures. He strives to be a camping scholar and a scholar of camping.

Andy Wentz is an artist, writer, and publisher originally from the Chicagoland area. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn focusing on both independent and collaborative creative projects. He hopes to own a pet of his own one day but will dote on his plant babies for the time being.
